Dr. Christian Graf has over 15 years of process engineering, material development, and business management experience in the field of high value inorganic materials. Dr. Graf holds an MBA by Mannheim (Germany) and ESSEC (France) Business School. 

After his PhD in inorganic chemistry at the University of Technology in Dresden, he held a senior researcher position at the University of Waterloo, Ontario. Dr. Graf entered the chemical industry in 2010, developing precursor materials for cathodes. He then moved to Rockwood Lithium and was responsible for battery grade lithium carbonate and hydroxide marketing and sales activities. Later, he was responsible for New Business Development of Albemarle’s product portfolio for advanced battery technologies. In 2017

Dr. Graf joined Dorfner Anzaplan, heading the process development and engineering department, working on specialty minerals and metals with a strong focus on lithium, graphite, and rare earths.

Together with his team, he developed, scaled, and commercialized numerous graphite purification routes, delivered PEA, PFS, and DF,S and is an internationally recognized expert in the field of graphite purification.
