A charismatic leader, with extensive experience within the Automotive Industry.
In 1999 Leon was Managing Director at Kwik Fit in South Africa before moving to Europe as Kwik Fit’s Group Product and Services Director.
In 2011 he joined First Stop Europe, as European Managing Director whilst concurrently holding the position of Retail Vice President at Bridgestone Europe.
In 2014 Leon joined Toyota Motor Europe as Vice President of After Sales, later his responsibilities expanded to cover the entire Value Chain.
Leon moved to the manufacturing business unit in 2019, as Vice President of Supply Chain, Manufacturing Support and Production Control, facilitating Toyota’s market share increase through Brexit and Covid.
In July 2023 Leon created two new functions, Circular Economy and Energy Business, reinforcing Toyota’s commitment to society whilst laying the foundations for Toyota’s new mobility business model.
