Sangjune is an accomplished recycling industry expert, strategist, and advocate for sustainable business practices. With a diverse background spanning various industries and continents, Sangjune brings a unique blend of expertise to the table.

Currently serving as the Director of US Battery Recycling Business at SK Ecoplant, he leads a multinational team dedicated to fostering a circular economy for the battery industry. His extensive experience also includes roles in e-waste, plastic, and tire recycling. Prior to his current position, Sangjune has contributed his skills to the renewable energy, oil & gas, and real estate sectors across multiple countries.

Sangjune holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Yonsei University in Korea, and an MBA from the London Business School in the UK. He is currently engaged in studying ESG and environmental policies while pursuing a doctoral degree.
