Anne Torricelli is the Managing Director, ESS at Gotion Inc. She leads sales and deployments of utility-scale battery projects, leveraging the speed and scale of Gotion’s manufacturing experience. Gotion was funded in 2006 and is a listed company owned at 30% by Volkswagen Group. Gotion is one of the top 5 largest battery manufacturers in the world with production facilities in the US, Germany, Slovakia, Morocco, Argentina and Asia. Gotion produces batteries for EV, utilities, commercial and industrial, residential and portable applications, as well as EV mobile chargers.
Prior to Joining Gotion, Anne was a cleantech executive with over 18 years of international experience in renewables energies at leading companies such as Honeywell, Samsung SDI and Tesla. Her experience includes 10 years in battery technologies and 8 years in solar, primarily in the utility sector.
Anne speaks 5 languages. She have lived in France, Italy and China, and spent the past 12 years in the US. She holds 2 bachelor’s degrees in international business from Montpellier Business School (France) and La Trobe University (Australia).
