Stephen Stone is a highly regarded international minerals industry executive with a successful career spanning project generation and evaluation, operations, executive management and corporate development across a range of commodities and jurisdictions. He is based in Perth, Western Australia where as Managing Director of ASX listed Castle Minerals Limited he is focused on the Company’s flagship Kambale Graphite Project in Ghana, West Africa which is being fast-tracked towards development as a producer of a bulk fine flake graphite concentrate and pre-cursor Battery Anode Material. Stephen graduated with honours in Mining Geology from University of Wales, Cardiff and since then has been fully immersed in the resources sector with particular exposure to Australia, Africa and China. Whether acting in Chairman, Managing Director and Non-Executive Director capacities he is well known for his energetic, proactive, creative and pragmatic approach to business and stakeholder relationships. Mr Stone is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
