Andrew is a senior policy advisor for extractive industries at Oxfam, where he focuses on human rights, environmental defenders, and climate justice. He has supported frontline communities and defenders-at-risk, undertaken human rights research in oil and mining communities, and was an author of Oxfam's corporate policy recommendations for supporting human rights defenders. His writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Truthout, and Mongabay, among other outlets. He holds a master’s from Stanford University and a bachelor’s from Claremont McKenna College.
