Ephi held several executive global leadership roles in sustainability, responsible supply chain management, product design and stewardship, regulatory and compliance, quality engineering and environmental health and safety at several Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, SAP, Palm Inc and Solectron. She developed systems and technologies that embed accountability, sustainability and enable scale. At Microsoft, Ephi spent the last decade in progressive leadership roles, specifically, Hardware Supply Chain Responsible Sourcing, Certification, and Security and the Supply Chain Integrity corporate organization. In her role, she established the new centralized supply chain due diligence management system and oversaw Microsoft’s global supply chain integrity commitments across human rights, environmental responsibility, ethical business practices, and health and safety. She co-authored and published numerous Sustainability Reports in her years at SAP and Microsoft. Ephi is a skilled corporate sustainability and social responsibility practitioner and engineering leader. She serves on various non-profit boards and advisory committees, and is currently the Chair Emeritus for the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Steering Committee, Industry Representative for Downstream Purchasers in the Initiative for Responsible Mining (IRMA) Board and Industry Adviser at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University. Ephi holds a MS with a special major in Environmental Policy Research and Management from California State University, East Bay and BA in Political Science from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines. She is a Leading by Design fellow at California College of the Arts, and a diplomate of Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley's Business Executive Education Programs.
