Travis is the head of technology for Rio Tinto’s battery materials business. He started his career is a geologist before completing a PhD in applied physics. Travis has spent most of his career in technical and leadership roles, developing and implementing technology for mining and minerals processing operations. In addition to his experience in minerals processing, he also sits on the Board of a listed medical device company with 5 FDA approved and regulated devices and has work in investment banking focused on metals and mining equity capital markets transactions, valuations, and research.
