Kunal is the Global Head of Recycling at Glencore. In this role, amongst other recycling streams, he is also responsible for Glencore’s battery circularity platform. He is based in New York. He started with Glencore in Baar in 2012 in the Copper Concentrates team, and subsequently led other group business units. Prior to joining Glencore, Kunal worked for 6 years in Management Consulting at ZS Associates. He holds an MBA from the London Business School, an M.S. in Systems Engineering (Robotics) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
