Hugues Jacquemin has over 30 years of senior management experience growing Specialty Materials businesses for listed Fortune 500 and Private Equity firms in a broad spectrum of industries including graphite mining and processing, lithium ion battery materials, fuel cells and hydrogen production, graphene and carbon nanotubes, synthetic graphite and carbon materials. Hugues acted as an independent advisor on Northern’s acquisition of Imerys natural graphite division and was an advisor to Northern’s board from February to May 2022 before assuming the role of Northern CEO in June 2022. Hugues also served as CEO of the Graphite and Carbon Division of Imerys SA and spearheaded its investment program for Li ion battery material for EV markets. Hugues is fluent in four languages.
