David Anonychuk has 27 years of international mining and metallurgical experience, working as a senior executive in consulting, operational, and marketing positions at major metal producers and mining consultancies, working previously for Newmont, Xstrata and Glencore. He has gained detailed knowledge of base metals, precious metals, recycling and critical minerals including lithium, nickel, cobalt, graphite and rare earths. David joined the SGS Natural Resources in 2021 in his current role as Global Vice President, Metallurgy and Consulting, focused on growth and strategy execution. SGS is a global leader and expert in minerology, metallurgical testwork, pilot plant services, project development study phases and process audits through the full mining life cycle with 500 analytical laboratories and 10 metallurgical facilities around the world.
