Senior Leader and Investment Professional with strong experience in leading and managing complex projects, transactions, and other strategic streams.
Since January 2024, Othman has been leading the Structuring, Financings, and Portfolio Management of INNOVX, a project developer and investor with ca. USD 15 bn in pipeline projects. He is also an active member of INNOVX Investment Committee.
Prior to that, Othman spent 12 years with the EBRD (predominantly based in London, United Kingdom) where he significantly contributed to building the Bank’s franchise in the MENA region including in the GCC. He has led several landmark direct equity and debt investments across the Bank’s countries of operation. He has also contributed to building the Bank’s policy dialogue initiatives in the MENA region and led and closed a significant sovereign guaranteed transaction in Tunisia in 2022.
Before joining the EBRD, Othman was a Managing Partner at SFCS, a Dubai and Geneva based family office and financial advisory firm, where he built the corporate finance practice, advising the family office and other clients on numerous investment projects in the MENA region and Brazil.
Before SFCS, Othman was an investment banker with Millennium Finance Corporation in Dubai, where he participated in a broad range of cross-border M&A and IPO transactions including the IPO of DP World, one of the Middle East single largest IPOs.
Previously, Othman worked for Societe Generale in Paris, as a credit trader, trading mainly distressed and Leverage Buyout (LBO) debt.
Othman received a master’s degree from Paris Dauphine University, Paris, France, and a postgraduate degree in Strategy and Finance, from ESSEC Business School, Paris, France.
