Since 1994, he has been in charge of research on the automobile industry, and has maintained a steadfast position, ranking first in the auto and auto parts category of the Nikkei Financials/Nikkei Veritas Popular Analyst Ranking for six consecutive years from 2004 to 2009, and first in the automotive sector ranking of Institutional Investor(II) magazine in the United States for six consecutive years from 2004 to 2009. Graduated from University of Oregon. After Yamaichi, Merrill Lynch, etc., he became General Manager of the Equity Research Department at JP Morgan Securities Tokyo Branch in 2006 and General Manager of Growth Stock Research at AllianceBernstein in 2009. In July 2013, he established Nakanishi Research Institute.
