Febriany has almost twenty two years working experience with international coverage in mining industry as well as finance. She was CFO of Vale Indonesia for more than 5 years, was promoted to Deputy CEO role in January 2019 and as CEO in April 2021. In addition to this role, she is also member of Board of Director of Vale Indonesia. Prior to her CFO’s role, she worked for Vale Base Metal Regional Office for Asia Pacific and Africa based in Brisbane, Australia, overseeing operations in Indonesia, New Caledonia, Japan, China, Taiwan and Zambia. She has been with Vale for almost 14 years. Prior to Vale, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) Jakarta and Amsterdam. She earned her MBA from UCLA Anderson and NUS Singapore. She holds bachelor’s degree in economy from University of Indonesia. She is also a Certified Public Accountant – Indonesia and Australia. She is a mother of two beautiful children, Kyra and Evan Day. She is recently named as Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen 2019, together with other 26 outstanding women leaders from 11 countries across Asia.
