Grant is a results-driven strategic commercial leader with almost 20 years of experience, including in senior leadership positions in the mining sector, across commercial (sales & marketing), strategy, finance, communications and law.

Grant joined Liontown as Chief Commercial Officer in November 2022, where he has been responsible for establishing the commercial team and managing our relationships with offtake customers LG Energy Solution, Tesla, and Ford. He also played a key role in the recently announced strategic partnership with LG Energy Solution, which includes investment and a downstream collaboration agreement as part of the Kathleen Valley Lithium Project, which commenced production on 31 July 2024.

In previous positions at Rio Tinto, Grant was responsible for all aspects of sales, book and go-to market strategies, partnerships and downstream strategic investments as well as leading contract negotiations. Grant holds an MBA from London Business School and an honours degree in law from the University of Glasgow.
