Chris Heron is the Communication & Public Affairs Director of Eurometaux, Europe’s metals industry association, representing European mining, processing, and recycling companies towards the EU institutions. He oversees Eurometaux’s raw materials advocacy programme and has close to 10 years of the experience in the metals industry. He led a landmark Metals for Clean Energy study in partnership with Belgian University KU Leuven, which quantified the raw materials needs of Europe’s Green Deal for the first time.
