Dr. ir. Wouter Ghyoot is Vice-President Government Affairs at Umicore with a global responsibility. He holds a Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from the KUL, and a PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Gent. He held various positions within Umicore including Research & Development, sales, sustainability, regulatory affairs and stakeholder engagement. Since 2022 he leads the Government Affairs department at Umicore and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
