Steve Walsh has over 30 years in a variety of “C suite roles in both the energy, metals and mining space. His background includes 12 years with the AES corporation where he had P&L and staff roles worldwide, principally in Latin America, Middle East, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. In 2013 he joined Traxys, a global metals, mining and energy company as the CEO of the power group and chief re-structuring officer. He is currently the managing director of global operations at Traxys. Steve serves on the board of directors of Ukerhydroenergo in Ukraine, PM Power Group in Michigan, APO’s advisory board and is a frequent guest speaker/author in the energy and mining space. A rated land/sea multi engine instrument pilot, he is a volunteer search and rescue pilot with the Civil Air Patrol. Steve is an alumnus of the U.S. Naval Academy and Harvard Business School.
