Using a proprietary approach to explore for lithium and other critical minerals in deep reservoir brines, Brent Wilson founded Galvanic Energy in 2018. The company successfully developed and divested its maiden lithium brine prospect in 2023 and has commenced work on other U.S. critical mineral projects.
Brent has more than 20 years of experience in geology, hydrogeology and geochemistry. He has overseen multiple groundwater research projects, discovered various natural resources, and drilled numerous oil, gas and brine wells. Brent has organized and managed highly successful multi-disciplinary geoscience teams and, most recently, has created one of the leading lithium exploration and development companies in North America.
During his career, Brent has been recognized for innovation, environmental stewardship and business leadership, including being named as one of Oklahoma’s Most Admired CEOs by The Journal Record. Brent has been published in Nature and other peer reviewed journals and has provided expertise to various news outlets and industry forums. Brent holds a master’s degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a master’s in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University, of which he is a member of the Board of Trustees.
