Venkee Sharma joined Aquatech International in 1991, and he has served in a variety of management positions. Previously, Venkee served as president and the company’s chief operating officer, responsible for management and oversight of Aquatech’s global operations. Venkee became Aquatech’s chairman in 2022.

Venkee has been privileged to serve on the U.S. Export-Import Bank Board of Directors. He is a member of the U.S.-India CEO Forum. Venkee also serves on the Dean’s Advocacy Council at Carnegie Mellon University. With a strong combined background in science and business, Venkee is a passionate advocate for addressing water scarcity. He actively supports AQWALIFE, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing and facilitating access to safe drinking water in underprivileged areas.
Venkee received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business’ Executive Education program.
