With over eight years of public policy experience specializing in environmental and transportation issues, Leilani brings a unique understanding of local, state, and federal processes and procedures to her role as ZETA's Policy Director. Prior to joining ZETA, Leilani began her public service career in the Florida State Legislature. After transitioning to Washington, D.C., she served in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, respectively handing environmental and energy legislation. During her time at ZETA, she's worked on key legislative bills such as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, and the corresponding regulatory items to implement them successfully.
