Leonardo Suárez came to the LarrainVial Research Department in 1996. Since 2003 he has led the 17-person team of financial analysts and economists that analyzes and projects the impact of local and global factors on the Andean financial markets, in order to elaborate investment recommendations and strategies regarding currencies and assets in both Equity and Fixed Income. Previously, he worked as a consultant in financial, economic, and environmental spheres. He worked for the Central Bank of Chile between 1986 and 1988, in addition to teaching various courses at the University Gabriela Mistral and University Diego Portales. He has a degree in Economics from Guayaquil University, Ecuador.10-hour mandatory training to comply with CAMV accreditation.
