Miguel Giménez Zapiola is an accomplished corporate leader with extensive experience in business development, corporate affairs, and government relations across various sectors. He has been with ERAMET since 2023, serving as General Delegate for Argentina, where he also holds roles as Head of Corporate Affairs and Director on the board of Eramine Sudamérica S.A., a lithium producer in Salta province.
Prior to his current role, Miguel served as a Business Development Advisor, with a focus on corporate affairs, communications, and government engagement at both national and regional levels. He was the Director of Corporate Affairs at Corporación América, where he also served as President and CEO of Unitec Blue and Chairman of the Board of Unitec Semiconductors in Brazil.
Miguel's career also includes a significant tenure at Barrick Gold Corporation, where he was Director of Corporate Affairs in Argentina, overseeing communications, governmental and institutional relations for the Veladero mining operation and the Argentine-Chilean Pascua Lama Project. Earlier, he worked at Endesa, leading public relations and communications for Endesa Generación Argentina.
In addition to his professional roles, Miguel is actively involved in the business community, serving as a board member of the Franco-Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFA) and the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies (CAEM). He is also a former Associate Professor of Communications for the Post Graduate Course in Administration of Energy and Natural Gas Businesses at ITBA University.
