Erez Ichilov is a New York City based Critical Minerals expert. He is a seasoned mining, metals and physical commodities executive (Managing Director, Deputy CEO), director (Executive and NED, in both listed and private companies), advisor and investor, with a legal and financial background. As of 2024, he is acting through his newly formed Cedrus Arbor LLC. During his career, Erez was also involved in various capacities in high-tech ventures, logistics, energy and infrastructure investments and projects and gained a deep understating of building and operating global supply chains.
From around 2017, Erez has been mainly focusing his work on responsible mining and safe processing investment projects for Battery Materials and other Critical Minerals, as well as on sustainable exploration, mining, processing, recycling and rehabilitation technologies enabling the transition to renewable energy sources, to electric transportation and haulage and for decarbonizing traditional supply chains and industrial activities.
Until recently, served for 11 years as Managing Director of Traxys Projects LP, the investments arm of the Traxys Group (a prominent global physical commodities trading house), where he drove, to name only a few, direct and pooled investments into Nouveau Monde Graphite, Nemaska Lithium, Talon Metals, Li- Cycle, Princeton Nuenergy, Nzuri Copper, and a Manganese project in South Africa. Prior to that, Erez was for 4 years Deputy CEO of the Ferro-Nickel company Cunico Resources N.V (then a prominent and integrated – mines to metal - producer of refined Ferronickel selling to major stainless-steel companies).
