We are pleased to announce that Benchmark Week will open with a series of field trips on the morning of Tuesday 12th November as way to add value to your trip and kick start your event networking.

Field trips that have been confirmed so far include:

Field Trip One: Ampaire 

 The company is the leader in hybrid-electric aircraft and aims to be the first to reach mass market with its hybrid-electric aircraft technology. Visitors will have the opportunity to see hybrid-electric aircraft up close and meet with the company’s leadership and battery team to ask your questions directly.

Field Trip Two: Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator 

LACI is working with startups to accelerate the commercialization of clean technologies; transforming markets through partnerships with policymakers, innovators, and market leaders in zero-emission transportation, clean energy, and sustainable cities. Visitors will be able to meet with LACI leadership and a selection of relevant startups that are part of their programme.

Field Trip Three: Parallel Systems

Parallel Systems is developing battery-electric rail vehicles to move shipping containers cleaner, faster safer and more cost effectively. Visitors will see the vehicles in motion and performing operations in real world environments, and get an up close viewing of the vehicle technolog, plus an opportunity to ask questions with the company leadership and engineers.

 

The field trips are free of charge. Attendees can select one field trip to join. Places are limited and being offered on a first come first served basis, subject to the approval of the site visit host. 

 

Coaches will depart the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey at 8AM on Tuesday 12th November and aim to return at 12PM midday on Tuesday 12th November.
