Networking
Benchmark Week 2023 will allow you to kick-start new business and investment opportunities with fellow delegates, speakers and sponsors during the many networking functions we have planned over the three day event.
The event location has been specially selected to offer different formats of content spaces and networking areas where you can mix with your peers and take meetings.
We’re making it even easier for you to find and meet other attendees. Using the Benchmark Week Networking App you are able to:
- Browse the full list of registered attendees (including full names, job title and company)
- Request a meeting – at a time of your choice within the event dates where you will be assigned a table in the dedicated event Meeting Area or at a sponsor’s exhibition booth
- Start a conversation or make an introduction with the event attendees using the Message feature
- Select the conference sessions that you would like to attend to build a personalised event calendar
- Explore the exhibition floorplan and reach out to our event sponsors
- Build your profile and add you photo so that you are easier to find at the event
Step 1: Log in and Build Your Profile
After your registration has been approved, you will receive information on where the Networking App can be accessed on your browser or downloaded onto your phone. Downloading the event mobile app provides the best experience.
Once you have set a password through the 'forgot password' function you can log in and begin building your profile.
Accessing your profile through the top right button, you will be able to update your personal information and choose a company type - this will enhance the ability for people to narrow their search to find you.
Step 2: View Attendees and Book Meetings
Browse the attendee list by name, company or country using the 'Schedule Meetings' button on the dashboard. You can also filter the list and attach notes on other attendees.
To book a meeting, select the desired attendee and you will be able to select a meeting time slot within the conference dates. Once the other person accepts one time slot you will be allocated a table in the Meetings Area onsite. If you book a meeting with a conference exhibitor, the meeting will be held at their booth.
All your meetings and assigned tables will be shown under My Agenda. Our team will be onsite to direct and support you.
A push notification and email will notify you of any meetings or messages.
Pending or cancelled meetings - make sure you haven’t left any pending meetings unanswered; you can view these under 'Meeting Management.'
To view your scheduled meetings, from the dashboard you can access 'my agenda' which will show your meetings, who with and the location all in one place.
Step 3: Start messaging and building connections!
Messaging is an easy way to introduce yourself to fellow attendees.
If you message a fellow attendee or request a meeting via the platform, a push notification will be sent, followed by an email.
All of this is done to increase engagement and help you make the most of your time onsite by selecting the sessions you want to attend and organising 1:1 meetings with other industry professionals.
